Mentorship Program, Summer 2025

The Mentorship Program is designed for anybody who has completed or is in the process of completing a 200 hour (or more) teacher training program and who is looking to cultivate their teaching skills with the support of trusted and experienced mentors. Whether you are considering teaching in a professional capacity in the future or if you are already teaching and want to hone your skills through supportive feedback and real-life teaching experience, this program is for you!

Curriculum

This program is 6 weeks long and will include the following as part of the curriculum:

• Saturday, June 14th, 12:30 - 3:30pm: 3-hour kick off workshop

• Weekly in-class shadowing, observing and assisting with a mentor based on your schedule and mentor teaching schedule

• Weekly group teaching in a public Community Class at Maven: Saturdays 12:30- 1:30pm: June 14th, 21st, 28th, July 5th, 12th, 19th

• Feedback and support from Maven Mentors

• Class teaching assessment at the conclusion of the program

Investment

The total investment is $750 with a non-refundable $250 deposit to reserve a spot. The remaining balance is due on June 14th and is non-refundable once the program begins.
